Behind the Scenes
The Garden Valley Pipe Band is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2015 providing Utah County and the surrounding area with bagpipey goodness. We offer solo performers, small groups, and full-band performance options for parties, conventions, funerals, weddings, dedications, commemorations, etc. and are pleased to serve the community with free bagpipe and drum lessons as well.
Our mission and vision
The bagpipe is a very unique instrument with a unique past and present. The mission of the Garden Valley Pipe Band is to honor that past and build a strong future for this musical form by sharing our love for it with our community by performing and by teaching.
Learning to play a musical instrument can be a positive, life-changing experience at any point in a person's life. We are proud to offer professional-quality classes and learning materials to all people interested in learning to play the Great Highland Bagpipe and associated drum styles.
Your support is vital. By helping us to cover costs for learning materials, instruments, etc. you are helping to provide this positive, life-changing experience for others who may not have such an opportunity otherwise. None of your donation goes to the pockets of the organizers, administrators, instructors, etc. within the Garden Valley Pipe Band organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
